Photo Crop Help
Already took photos or unsure how to format them? Here are a few quick ways to make them work for Luxelings.
Need to Adjust Your Photos to 3:4?
No need to retake them you can easily fix this in your phone.
- Use your phone’s edit tool
- Select “crop”
- Most phones will show the ratio (like 3:4 or 4:3) as you adjust
- Choose 3:4 if available, or adjust until it matches
- Keep your item centered and fully visible
If Cropping Cuts Off the Item
You still have options:
- Add space around your image
- Use an app like Canva
- Place your photo into a 3:4 frame
- Add a simple, neutral background
This helps keep your full item visible while still fitting the format.
Focus on Your First Photo
Your cover image matters most.
• Make sure it’s clean, centered, and easy to see
• This is what buyers notice first
Your additional photos don’t need to be perfect, just clear and honest.
Going Forward
When taking new photos:
• Shoot in portrait 3:4 if available on your phone
• Or shoot photos from further away, leaving space around item.
This makes cropping into 3:4 quick and easy.
